There is no shortage of
interesting things to see and do in Giles County. Whether it's the
historic Trail of Tears, the Sam Davis Trail, a tour through the
courthouse or a picnic in one of the many neighborhood parks, Giles
County offers plenty of recreational opportunities.
In Pulaski alone, there are 13 neighborhood parks - many offer tennis
and basketball courts, ball fields and playground equipment. Also
among the city's parks is the Old Graveyard Memorial Park. Elkton is
also focusing on tourism through efforts to restore an old bridge and
its annual Trail of Tears Volksmarch, a noncompetitive 6-mile walk
through the country.
Giles County is also close to TVA lakes for fishing and other water
sports. The region has long been known for its prime deer, quail,
turkey, dove and waterfowl hunting grounds. Yes, all the features of a
slower pace of life can be found in Giles County. But we also offer
all the advantages of big city life only an hour away at Nashville,
the capital of country music, and in Huntsville, AL, which is also
known as "Rocket City." Sports fans can enjoy 3 professional sports
teams only an hour away: the NFL Football League Titans, the Predators
NHL Hockey Team and the new NASCAR racetrack. |

Giles County also provides many
horse trails for leisure riding and hunt clubs, and is only 50 miles
from the "Walking Horse Capital of the World." Golfers can get in
the swing of things at two 9-hole golf courses: the Hillcrest
Country Club and the Hazelburn Golf Course.
Giles County and Pulaski are pleasant places to live, work and play.
Give us a visit at our United Country office soon and let us show

place of your dreams!
